The Five Sprites: Creating

She came back to her hands first.

She was held a long time in a country with no name.

She left things there she thought she’d never find again — the particular pleasure of making, the way a half-finished thing can feel like a promise.

But watch her now.

Watch her hands — how they move like they know a secret, how she finds the glimmer in everything and makes more of it.

She is leaving traces. Small deliberate stars in every room she passes through.

Look at her. Do you see?

She is not trying to make something perfect. She is trying to make something real.

She is not the same as before.

She is something that has been through fire and learned, in the burning, what she was made of.

Watch her.

She is exactly this.

And she is beautiful.
